Preparing my JAG Outer Feet for paint.
Task: Enlarging the holes for the Knurled Hose Fittings, Adding mounting holes for JAG NPC Motor Mounts
and adding mounting holes for lifting handles.

JAG steel Outer Feet come with a smaller pilot hole for the Knurled Hose Fittings.
But they need to be drilled larger once you determine the front from the back.
This helps me from having to make separate left and right feet.

Preparing my JAG Outer Feet for paint.
I'm going to be using a white wrinkle powder coat
The powder coat is baked on and very durable
The wrinkle adds a nice texture to the paint

Enlarging the holes for the Knurled Hose Fittings
First I Orientated the Outer Feet so the Battery Box sides (curved surfaces) are facing inwards
This will put the front of the Outer Feet facing towards you
I enlarged the holes using a Multidiameter Step Drill Bit
You can pick one up from McMasterCarr.com, P/N 89315A42
Enlarged the holes to 11/16" Diameter
I used a nice new bit. It made drilling the steel much easier

Drill 11/16" diameter holes for Knurled Hose Fittings
You can go slightly larger if needed on the hole size
But be careful, the knurled body is 3/4" diameter
Note the Foot Strips are 1 inch wide and will hide any small mistakes
