How To

Modified Assembly
Outer Ankle to Outer Leg
I drilled larger holes in the Outer Ankle.
These holes are for 3/8" bolts.
I used a 13/32" diameter drill bit so there was a tight fit between the hole and bolt.
That gave it less room for movement/wobbeling around.

I went and did the same thing to the legs.

and back.

This is my 3/8"-16UNC Hardware.
Make sure your bolts are longer than 2-1/2".
I think I used 3" long ones.
Get some lockwashers, locknuts and flat washers

Slide your Outer Ankle Bracket up your Outer Leg before assembly.
These photos show the shim missing between the leg and ankle. I didnt have one at the time.

I don't mind seeing the bolt heads.
I'd rather the connection be nice and strong.
You can always paint them the same color as your legs.

Slide your Ankle Bracket down.
This is why you put the ankle bracket on first, before you bolt your leg and ankle together.
Or you'll have to take it all apart and start again.
