Star Wars Celebration V, May 2009, Indianapolis, Indiana!?

   

I have built my very own, all metal Star Wars R2-R9 Astromech Droid.

Astromech Droids are a series of versatile utility robots generally used for the maintenance and repair of starships and related technology. These small Droids are often equipped with a variety of tool-tipped appendages that are stowed in recessed compartments. The R2 Unit is a popular example of an Astromech Droid.

The R2-R9 red in color. Unlike it's counterpart R2-D2, white and blue in color.

First claim to fame was in Star Wars Episode I serving aboard the Royal Starship.

Shorty afterward blasted from the hull of Princess Amidala's Starship the Marie Celeste while making emergency repairs.
